The story behind today’s post:

Silent Sanctuary has been one of my favorite bands since last year, and their songs continue to inspire me to create stories straight from my heart. The characters used in the video, Creed and Ekko, are the two main characters of the fantasy book I am currently writing. The scenes used in the video are part of the first book’s ending scenes where Creed, an angel, says his final farewell to Ekko, a mortal, before returning to Heaven. When I was creating the video, I was thinking about my own unrequited love and poured out all my heart into the project. Almost a year later, and I’m surprised to see that the video, no matter how fuzzy it came out, touched a lot of hearts. Yesterday, I showed this video to Her Maldita-ness for the first time and it made her cry because of the old wounds it had opened. I never thought that such a simple video could make such a big impact.

I Thank You today…

Because I saw the little white stray kitten again this morning. She was still alive and well. She looks like she hasn’t eaten since I had last seen her. I’ll give her something when I get home after work.

Thank you for keeping her alive.

And thank you, because it reminded me of a good friend I met back in college who never failed to entertain me with stories and pictures of her cat like this one.
